Description / Sloan Royal A-1108-A Flushometer Urinal Rebuild Kit 1.5 GPF
This genuine Sloan parts kit is designed to service all Sloan diaphragm type flushometers. All the main valve repair parts are pre-assembled with the new dual-filtered diaphragm that stops dirt and debris before it causes valve "run-on".
This kit will solve most flushometer operation problems.
Royal Dual Filtered Fixed Drop-In Kits can be used to upgrade Royal and Regal style diaphragm flushometers. When used in a Royal valve manufactured prior to 1964, this kit MUST be used with an "A-108 filter ring":/filter-ring-for-pre-1964-valve-bodies (Vendor Code # 5301283, sold separately)

I had no clue how a flushometer works, and even after replacing this kit I still don't understand how this thing works. But I do know it was a very easy repair. I feel pretty good knowing that I replaced all the wear parts in my flushometer and I won't have to work on it again for a long time.
